Xbox 360?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!??
im going to be purhasing an xbox 360 and had a few questions.
Should i get the pro or spend the extra 100 and get an elite?
and the first game im gonna get is halo 3 any other really good game recomendations?
and how much is xbox live membership?

This all depends whether or not you plan to purchase many things for your xbox (Downloadable content, or installing your games- a new feature to the xbox through NXE), the pro is really suffices your needs in most aspects.
Also the elite is theme’d black, which most users prefer to match their entertainment setup which is a +.
As for halo 3, assuming you like shooters, try GTAIV, Gears of War 2, and Left 4 Dead.
You can upgrade your Silver Xbox Live membership(free at start) to Gold for just $49.99 for a year, $7.99 for one month, and $19.99 for three months
Tip Advice – if you’re prompted to install Halo 3, decline; halo 3 was made to load on it’s own engine specifically to the xbox assuming it always ran off the disc.

The only difference is that the elite is black (the controller is also black), the hard drive is 120GB instead of 60GB on the premium, and that the elite has an HD AV cable. (the quality is the same. I have Xbox 360 elite, and i checked both cables – no visible difference).
If you are a heavy downloader, go for the elite. otherwise, save your 100 bucks and buy something else with it.
Other great games: halo wars, gears of war 1+2, GTA 4, PGR 4, bioshock, resident evil 5, ninja blade……
You also get free 1 month gold live membership. 13 months cost around 50-60$.

You should get the elite because it comes with everything for xboxlive
Xboxlive 1 month= 7.92
3 months = 15.92
13 months= 38.92

Xbox live is 50$ a year
if u get the elite, u get a black xbox, and 60 extra GB so u decide.
and halo 3 if good if you like first person shooters. (though I would recommend call of duty 4 of call of duty world at war)

Go for the elite. I recommend Gears of War 2,Burnout Paradise. It depends on which xbox live membership you want, the 12+1 month superscription is about $50-$60. I recommend that one to get.

Get the Elite, its fixed in many ways.
