Xbox 360..?
im looking to buy an xbox 360. what is the best one to get for the price. and wat is included with it? also, ive been looking around and i cant find anything on it so wat are the membership levels for xbox live and how much does it cost for the different periods of time u can buy for xbox live? also, wat are Microsoft Points, wat do they do and do i need them/are they nessicary to have?

personally i would go with the one in between core and elite (i do’nt even remember what it’s called) but it has a hard drive and a wireless controller, which i like. as far as xbox live you can buy it for a month or for like 13 months on prepaid cards. don’t remember the price. microsoft points allow you to buy stuff online (like arcade games/movies/whatever) but you certainly don’t need them to play games you buy from a store, or to download free content like critical game patches.

Go to your nearest EB Games or Gamestop. You should be able to get on for around $280. The price on the 360 have lowered at about $100 to $130. Or try your nearest Wal-mart.

For the Xbox360 , you should get the black value pack.
it includes two controllers two microphones and a black console ( includes twice the memory of the previous one)
it’s on sell now and the price should roughly be about ( in a range from:) 600-890 dollars. i got my black for 768 dollars and the original for 599. i’d recommomend the black one!

I suggest you get the Xbox 360 Elite. It has a 120 mb hard drive, and supports HDMI cables (if you have a HD TV).
The Xbox Live membership levels are Silver and Gold. Silver is the basic of the basic, it only lets you contact people on your friends list. You cant play games online, or buy stuff from the Marketplace. The Gold lets you do everthing you can on live. The way you can pay for it is through your credit card over live, or get prepaid cards with codes on them. There is the 1 month card, 3 month ($30) and the 12 month ($50).
The points allow you to buy stuff on Xbox Live Marketplace. You dont need them to play, but you can buy extras for your games like maps and other stuff that doesnt come with the game.

i just bought my xbox 3 weeks ago from gamestation i shopped around from costgo to tesco basically best place to buy is either gamestation or game as they do good deals
my deal was

i bought separate but recommend to buy
Xbox live gold edition full package includes everythin 12months= £38
cheaper to buy 12months instead of 3 or 6months
Sliver= rubbish cant play games ect
Re-charge lead for controllers- £15- save money on batteries
Micorsoft points are points needed if u want to buy for example extra maps on a game, or wanting to change your gamertag ect – personally i dont buy the points as i dont buy anythin on xbox live soo ther not nessicary unless u wana buy an add on for the game

or get elite- i didnt buy this because i live in uk and it comes out this week and i wanted somethin to play on beging on my summer hoilz and the only difference is the harddrive space 120gb in which i might by the add on space seperatly but might not because i dont download anythin havent decided yet, also it is black -BIG DEAL ..lol and also hdmi cable not big deal only outputs information 1080p instead of 1080i hardly anydifrence therefore i bought the 20gb edition

microsoft points let you download movies games and themes
and pics for your xbox and are just really fun to have xboxlive
silver member ship is free but i wouldent recomend it
so get the gold and the gold cost around $50 a year.
PS get the pro xbox not the core the core isnt worth the
money the elite is also very good to.
