How To Hook Up Xbox 360 To Laptop That Is Getting Internet From Wireless Router?

Can someone please give me simple step-by-step instructions to be able to hook up my XBOX 360 to my laptop that is receiving internet from another computer’s wireless router? Please! I am wanting to download a patch for my WWE SVR 2009 to be able to get attributes for all of my CAW’s by completing Career Mode just once. I heard there is now a patch for that, can someone please help!!
