How Do I Upgrade My Xbox 360 Arcade To Xbox Live?
The XBOX 360 arcade was a gift, I enjoying playing it. But playing online sounds fun, I don’t mind buying and paying for the things i need to play it. But before I play it can anybody tell me what I need for this xbox live I am interested in? I know i need more memory right?

A: you need a hard drive if you are going to download anything.
B: you will need a broad band internet connection and ethernet cable for your console.( using a splitter could cause a bad / slow connection)
C: you will need a sub scription to xbox live GOLD ( got mine for $40 for the first year
this is all you will need.

well you dont need more memory . you will if you dont have enough memory to download the new xbox dashboard which is 218mb i think and downloadable content uses up alot of memory well most of them about 500 somethink so get a hardrive. you can get a wireless adapter which costs about £60 or around $120 or just buy a ethernet cable which is much cheaper but its a wire so make your choice. im not sure if you do get 1 months free xbox live on arcade so you have to buy the months xbox live which is about $10 or £5 3 months which is around £15 or $30 and 12 months which is the best deal i think £40 or around $80. and you can also buy a wireless headset which is £35 or around $70 or just buy a wired 1 which is £10 or $20 just buy a headset if you want to talk to people.hope this helped

you need to get an external hard drive for the xbox 360, then you need internet connection to it(wireless or cable), then you purchase the xbox live subscription and sign up. you can get everything you need at walmart. super easy!
