How Do I Know Whether My Xbox 360 Has Been Moded, Thus Voiding The Warranty?
I recently bought an xbox 360 on ebay, and it said that some of the xboxs they sent out may have an “upgraded” fan in the to prevent them from overheating. Now i have the red ring of death, and I don’t know whether or not they opened the xbox and voided my warranty. How do i tell and would the upgraded fan void the warranty anyways??

They are feeding you a bunch of crap. You should see if they gave you some kind of warranty with your console. If your sticker is still intact, call microsoft to see if its still under warranty. If not check out http://www.craigslist.org to find someone to fix it
