Does Your Xbox 360 Making A Buzzing Sound When You Close The Disc Slot?
Does your Xbox 360 making a buzzing sound when you close the disc slot? It does to mine and it comes from in the console not the TV. Does it happen to you?

Yes, it happens.. If the buzzing noise only happens when there is disc in the tray, it could be the disc drive.. If it happens regardless of whether there is a disc in the tray and is more prevalent after the console has been on for a few minutes, it could be the cooling fans..
Both the disc drive and cooling fans are known sources of “jet engine noises” from the 360..
If it turns out to be your disc drive, I would encourage you to check to see if your 360 is still under warranty as I’ve heard some people mention a buzzing noise before their consoles RROD’d..
If your 360 is no longer under warranty, you can check into a service that I’ve used.. http://www.360-pros.com/
They’re faster and cheaper than Microsoft and can fix 99% of problems associated with the 360..

Mine used to do that and one day it shut down and wouldent play my game so i had to send it back to have it fixed.
